Eva’s was recommended to us by the hotel staff when we were looking for a delicious and unique breakfast spot. It’s located on a busy downtown street along the trolley line, in a vintage building painted in blue and gold. There are café tables out front under shady trees, and inside you’ll find an amazing counter of pastries and sandwiches, with additional seating in the back. Hint: Many people stand in line, order, and take their food and drinks to-go. If you want to sit in the restaurant, you can skip the line and wait by the dining area. A staff member will ask if you’d like a table and will seat you. We came on two consecutive mornings (because the first visit was so good). Over our two visits, we tried the Almond Chocolate Croissant, Vegetable Quiche, and Roasted Beef & Avocado Toast. Everything was excellent — fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and beautifully presented. You can tell they make everything with care. They also offer all the usual coffee drinks, and my London Fog Tea Latte was very good. Service on both visits was professional, efficient, and patient. Even though it was always busy, we never felt rushed. The dining room was full but quiet enough to have a conversation. I would have loved to take more pastries to-go, but we were too full. Definitely a place we’d return to!

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat on my way to an event. Despite being busy, the line moved fast. The employees were nice. The Danish i got was warmed up, and delicious! Price was reasonable. Highly recommend stopping in for a quick treat, I know I will if I come back to SLC.

We caught a glimpse of the facade from our Hotel Monaco window and decided to come try it. Cute little french bakery with all the favs, we opted for Chai Tea, blueberry pastry, sticky bun, and almond croissant with chocolate. They do the sticky bun correct, it had pecans on top, nice sticky goo without being messy, cooked to perfection. The chai tea was perfect as were the blueberry pastry and croissant. Overall we're glad we found this place and we'll have to come back to try more of their entries.

I came here two days in a row because it’s SO good. Cute vibe and beautiful pastry selection. Wish I could try them all. I would advise ordering anything bakery-related because the bread is unreal. The french toast wasn’t too sweet, and was the perfect combo of fluffy with light crunch. The grilled cheese (heart shaped!) was to die for and everything I had was 10/10. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in town.

Amazing bakery! The parking was easy on a Wednesday morning, there was no wait, and service was very quick! The food was delicious, we got a croissant sandwich and the side potatoes were so deliciously savory, and the French toast was also very flavorful! We grabbed some pastries for the road and were so happy with our morning last week.

I’m so glad I chose to have my brunch at Eva’s Bakery on the last day of my trip to SLC. It turned out to be the best dining experience I had in the city, with the most delicious croissant sandwich. I enjoyed every single bite of the light, crusty, buttery (but not greasy!) croissant, filled with a flavorful omelet, ham, cheese, and fresh greens. I’m at the airport now—it’s only been about six hours, so I can still almost taste it. In addition to the food, even though the café was quite busy on a Saturday morning, the friendliness and welcoming vibe of the staff made the experience even more special. Also, thank you to the kind staff member who told me about their delicious tea—I was able to visit the shop and pick some up as souvenirs. I highly recommend this place, and I hope I can visit again in the future!

A quick walk from the Salt Palace if you're attending a conference there. Loved the kouign amann! I wanted to try all the pastries. The French onion soup had a good flavor, with the unique addition of carrots, red bell pepers, and green onions. My to-go cup stayed hot and I was able to add the croutons when I sat down. The cheese melted right into the soup and tasted delicious.

I went on a Saturday morning - and it was pretty busy but the line moved fast. You can go in and order a pastry from the case to go OR you can wait in line to sit down. I got the Quiche Lorraine with potatoes & greens - the eggs were melt in your mouth delicious and the crust was the perfect amount of flaky & not to salty with the ham. Cookie Butter Latte - iced per the servers recommendation, was really good…but if you didn’t tell me it was a cookie butter latte, I wouldn’t know what I was drinking. Chocolate Croissant - buttery & flaky & the perfect amount of chocolate, not too little but not too much it becomes overwhelming . Recommend getting it warmed up!

In the area for a few days and this was my first stop after the airport. Such a clean, inviting and quaint establishment. I was initially seated and it took awhile for them to come take my order and I stopped and asked if I was in the right seat to have a server or to go order myself. I believe it was the manager who stopped and immediately took my order and apologized for the wait. Brought me a cinnamon roll for the delay and the food/coffee was fantastic. Even ate the French toast with no syrup which is a first for me. Highly recommend!

This bakery is a gem nestled in downtown SLC. Parking can certainly be a challenge (street parking around the corner to the north, a parking garage to the south and a parking lot about a block to the south). The bakery is most certainly worth it. I'd recommend going in early as they do get very busy. Service was very friendly, the interior is fantasticily cozy as it reminds me of a European Cafe. Coffee is fantastic, the croissants are wonderfully buttery, soft and flaky. Recommended.
